All Along The WallSaturday 31st January at 7.30pmThe Directors of Brampton Live Festival with the support of Hadrian's Wall Heritage Ltd and the PRS Foundation for New Work are mounting a new and exciting project for 2010. BBC Radio 2 has also agreed to cover the project at some point during the year. The project is called "All Along The Wall" and will be based on the experiences of life around Hadrian's Wall both ancient and modern. Eight internationally known performers (Rory Mcleod, Elvis McGonagall, Kate Fox, Boo Hewerdine, Jez Lowe, Julie Matthews, Matt Harvey and Ruth Notman) will stay together for a week near to The Wall where they will write a 75 minute piece of new work. This will happen between the 26th and the 31st January and on the evening of Sunday 31st January 2010 they will perform the piece for the first time to a live audience at The Wave Centre, Maryport. This performance will be recorded by Fellside Recordings and an album will be produced which will be commercially distributed by "Proper Distribution" Tickets £12, Concessions available
