Welcome to The Wave Centre, Entertainment and Conference Centre situated in the lovely seaside town of Maryport, on Cumbria’s West Coast.

This is revolutionary £3.3million Entertainment Centre. The complex features a 234 seater theatre/cinema, (300 standing) with state of the art acoustics and lighting equipment. The theatre can be divided in two with soundproof partitions for a smaller more intimate venue. It’s a multi functional space that can be used for local shows, professional performances, concerts, award ceremonies, training events, conferences , weddings, parties etc and has a cinema screen, to show films and programmes.

The Wave holds regular events, shows and children’s entertainment. The Centre is also used for local community events. 

We have a 50 seater coffee shop, serving light lunches and snacks during the day.

There is also a gift shop, which stocks crafts and cards as well as an extensive range of gifts and novelties. The Centre also houses the Tourist Information Centre for the town providing information on local events, attractions and accommodation.

Open 6 days a week from 10.00am to 4.00pm (Monday to Saturday)
